Jeff and I have been really enjoying spending so much time together while at home recently. Anyways – I wanted to add one of our TOP recipes here to the blog that I get questions about constantly. Our famous Wicks Party Potatoes! I’ll be adding the recipe below – it’s one of our all time favorite winter side or main course options. You can serve this yummy dish for dinner, lunch and even breakfast! It’s THAT good!! Now on to the famous Wicks Party Potatoes Recipe! We hope you LOVE it as much as we do.. it’s one of our most beloved dishes. Jeff’s family has been making this recipe forever. It’s delicious and really simple! Love love love using the frozen hashed brown potatoes which makes it one of the quickest and easiest dishes we make for our family.

- 1 Bag Frozen Country Shredded Potatoes
- 1/2 Cup Butter
- 1 16 Oz Container Sour Cream
- 1 Can Cream of Chicken Soup or Cream of Mushroom Soup
- 1 Red Onion
- 2 Cups Shredded Cheese (We use Mexican)
- 2 Tbsp Minced Garlic
- Bacon Bits
- Salt & Pepper

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Slightly thaw potatoes while mixing other ingredients together first to quicken cooking time.

Mix all the ingredients together then pour into a greased 9×13″ pan and cook for 75 – 90 minutes or until golden brown.

Loving this recipe! All of your recipes always look amazing. I make a version of these potatoes, very similar but I have never used bacon bits!!!! And I crunch up potato chips on the top!! ❤️

These potatoes are SOOOO good. I added a little Lawry’s season salt to the mixture & then topped with chives after baking. Thanks so much sharing your recipe. Next time I am going to add a packet of Hidden Valley ranch dressing to the mixture. I love to experiment with recipes
