Best DIY, Crafts and Self-Care Ideas While Self Distancing
With all of us looking for more ideas on things to do while self distancing, I thought it would be fun to pull together a few creative/DIY projects for everyone. A lot of the activities that I’m sharing below feature and celebrate small shops that will be feeling the impact during this time period. I love that this also helps support them! While we’ve tried some of these DIY/crafts ideas, others we’re looking forward to trying and have them on order. I know that many of you have been asking for ideas on how to fill your days – whether with the kids or just yourself so below I’ve pulled together a roundup with Emma’s help to get you through this time. I know that I for one need a little more than just T.V. shows and movies to get me through all this shelter at home / self distancing time. ;)
Some of the items we rounded up include DIY crafting kits, self care face masks and scrubs, a yoga mat to get your workout on, and a puzzle to work your brain while stuck inside.
If you’re also looking for more ideas on how to pass the time, we’ve also pulled together a pretty great list of shows and movies available on Netflix that you can take a look at – click here to view that post.
Have you been trying some new creative projects at home? If so, please share in the comments below! We love learning from all of you. You can also click here to shop more DIY kits available online.

Have you ever tried a paint by numbers before? We've been really into them lately. Emma shared one recently that she was working on in stories and I was inspired. Such a fun and relaxing way to spend your time. It's nice for everyone in the family to have their own so you can admire one another's work. They may seem tedious but they're so much fun! $30 for the entire kit which includes the easel, canvas, paint brushes and paint.
One of our favorite tried and true brands for diffusers, soaps and candles. I'm constantly sharing when they've launched a new scent or sale because they make the best gifts and additions to your home. The candles/diffusers are elegant & compliment all styles of homes. This diffuser is under $16.

My neighbor and friend, Lori, has the cutest card shop ever! She began her company as a way to encourage people to express their thoughts and emotions with paper and pen. They partner with talented artists and greeting card companies to create these little kits. Love her options and they are affordable. She also has an incredible monthly subscription service - so make sure to check them out. :)
