For the past few months Jeff has been helping me tackle miscellaneous projects around the house and garden that I’ve really wanted complete. Some of those projects included organizing the garage, planting new flowers and trees in both the backyard and front yard, and adding new planter bed lights. None of those projects are particularly fun so I wanted to make sure that we accomplished at least one fun DIY project that I knew he would be excited about!
Jeff has always had an older grill set up on the side of the yard that he used while cooking outside. He’s wanted to practice getting better at grilling and smoking different dishes but never had much time except for the weekends. With everyone being home over the past few months he’s had more time than ever to kick his grilling and smoking up a notch. I wanted to upgrade his set-up & make a DIY “Smoker & Grill station” in a more fun location near one of our outdoor seating spaces to get him excited and make him feel like he’s more a part of the action.
Walmart has a HUGE selection of grills, smokers, and all the accessories that anyone would need to accomplish a project like this. We didn’t even have look outside of Walmart while working on this project because of their great selections and varying price points. It’s so easy to find affordable grilling and smoking options that we decided to round up a collection of amazing grills for you that start at just $100! It can be a fun hobby for the whole family to participate in. :)
Jeff opted to upgrade his older smoker to a newer pricier Traeger, but you can find so many options at every budget with high reviews. Jeff’s brothers happen to have the Traeger and have been sharing how much they love it so of course Jeff wanted to get the same. I’ve rounded up everything Jeff has & LOVES including all of the grill/smoker accessories below. I know how many of you have been grilling and smoking different dishes throughout the summer so hopefully this will help!

Jeff tested out his station last weekend and everything was so delicious and fun! We’ll make sure to add a bunch of new recipes once he gets the hang of his new smoker and tries it out a few times. :) Hope you enjoyed seeing his new DIY Smoker & Grill Station!
