Hi everyone! Hope you are having a great start to your week. I’ve been getting so many requests to share more cute and affordable DIY crafts that I’ve been scouring the internet nonstop today. I found a ton of options that I think would be fun to tackle if you have the time. Quite a few of the DIY crafts are from Etsy which I also love. Etsy represent so many amazing small shops.. I think it’s so important to help small shops as much as we can during these times.
Do you shop from small shops? I’m such a fan. I know times are tough right now for everyone.. contractors, small businesses, restaurants have been taking huge hits. I’m keeping everyone in my thoughts and hope things will get better soon. I’m here to support everyone including my little town of Pleasanton.
Below I’ve rounded up many DIY crafts that are perfect to do while at home. Some of the ideas include a DIY soap making kit, candle making kit, puzzles, playing cards, paint by number kits, watercolor kits, 3D puzzles and objects & more. I’ve been looking for outlets (other than just watching Netflix) to get my creative juices flowing and these crafts have been helping so much. Jeff and I play cards almost e very night and we’ve been working on a puzzle also. I don’t know about you but it’s been hard for me to even pick up a book right now. :(

My neighbor, Lori, owns an adorable small business called One Per Week - you can sign up for her subscription service which provides monthly cards. The cards include birthday, thank you and a few funnies that should make you and your recipient LOL. One-Per-Week subscribers receive 4-5 themed greeting cards + a coordinating pen each month. Join them and take the OPW challenge to write one letter per week. Remember, what goes around comes around in the mailbox. Lori also has TONS of adorable letter & stamp kits in her shop. So many sweet letters to be written using these cards!
