The Bay area is finally seeing some fall weather…
today marks our first morning waking to rain. :)
The temps are cooling and I have to admit that while I’m trying very hard to not look too longingly back at summer,
I’m a warm weather girl at heart and live for the sun.
I think Cal does too!
This morning while gardening we found him chasing what sun he could.
Such a smart guy…
Have I mentioned how much I’m loving my front porch this season?
It’s been fun keeping things simple and real.
Decorating is so much easier when working with nature.
I love all the pumpkins, gourds and leaves…
I’ve only just added a large gorgeous looking wire urn from Homegoods to the space which I’ve filled to the brim with leaves and a live plant.
It’s such a beautiful piece!
I can’t wait to fill it differently with each new season.
If you ever find something like this, make sure to grab it while you can.
The ways in which you can decorate a piece like this are limitless.
The antiqued look makes it interesting enough to use either outside or in.
I think I may move it into my dining room for the Christmas season. :)
I’ll take more pictures when the lighting is a little better but thought these were just too cute to not put up today.
It’s always amazing to me how Cal can take an ordinary picture to a whole other level just by being in it. Love him so! :)
Hope you are having a beautiful Saturday…
We are hosting yet another World Series ‘get together’ tonight for Game 4.
Fingers crossed that the Giants take this one! :)
