a few of my favorite things~

I want to start off my Friday Favorites with my adorable gf Courtney from,

a thoughtful place

Courtney has an amazing Blog that I absolutely love!

In it she discusses all things pretty, organized, fashionable & well-designed and she believes that all spaces no matter how big or small, deserve to look beautiful.  (Love this!)

She has recently completed a sweet Bedroom Makeover with HomeGoods and did such an amazing job that I wanted to share it with you today.  Courtney is so talented and put such an incredible amount of thought into the special touches and changes she added for the sweet couple whose room she has transformed…

Check out the beautiful space by clicking on the picture below and see the difference of what a fresh update can make to a bedroom!

This blue slipper tub is adorable~

This little bathroom is so fresh and light with my favorite color combination of blue and white.

The blue slipper tub surrounded by all the fresh flowers is so unique and perfect here!  I need this! ;)

I’m so excited to share my FIRST blue hydrangea of the summer~

I’ve had all sorts of pink blooms this summer but this is my first adorable blue bloom and I wanted to share it with you.

I adore these special flowers and can’t get enough of them!

I love this garden that Mark D. Sikes visited in Kent, Connecticut~

It has everything that I love about gardens in one shot.

I am a huge fan of boxwood and the tailored look they provide but paired with this gorgeous stone wall and vine climbing over it makes me crazily happy.  I never turn away from any garden gate and this white one surrounded by all this green glory is just perfect.

I received this next favorite thing as a present from my hubby this past year~

Napa Style’s Hammered Stainless Steel Tumblers are so unique and versatile.

We were first introduced to these tumblers at Michael Chiarello’s restaurant, Bottega in Yountville, Ca.

Bottega uses them at all place settings as water goblets but we use them for so many things… water, wine and as you can see in the picture above with my Hydrangea, a little vase.

They are so different and unexpected when used at the table.  My friends always comment on them and we all love them!

My last favorite thing is this eye candy of a gorgeous pool and wide open space by the landscape artist, Perry Guillot.

This just shows what one can do with an incredible vision and the right open space.

Classic and timeless…
