Dash and Albert Giveaway!

https://kristywicks.com https://kristywicks.comI’ve been in love with Dash And Albert rugs for years.  I knew as soon as my family and I moved into our new home filled with hardwood floors that I’d want a sampling of their unique rugs. The colors, textures and styles that are reflected in these beautiful rugs are always current and ‘on trend’ with both the season and design direction of the moment.  I love it when a company pays attention to changes in the design world and takes the leap to adjust their products for both buyer and the times without losing it’s classic style.  I know that I myself have grown into loving so many different looks with interior design and I’ve had fun pushing myself to change directions and be open to knew things.  This has allowed me to add 2 Dash and Albert rugs to my collection… the Diamond Light Blue and Ivory Indoor/Outdoor Rug in my study and now the beautiful Neapolitan Cotton Rug which I have placed in my Family Room.

flowerbox https://kristywicks.comI’m extremely lucky to have gotten to know Annie Selke through Instagram and I am so honored that she has taken the time to like what it is that I am doing.  I am all about finding the beauty in everything and to know that Annie feels strongly that ‘happiness is found by surrounding yourself with people, pets, and products you love…’ well, I knew I had an instant connection with both she and her philosophy.  There is beauty in everything and she tries to reflect that in all of her companies.

Buying the right rug for your lifestyle can be difficult because many rugs purchased nowadays are found online.  You never know if the color is true or the quality.  Dash and Albert stands by both.  Annie has dogs and makes all of her rugs with the intention for people to live real lives.  I am so thankful for this because I have troops of teens and kids as well as pets running throughout my home.  I can’t worry about a rug getting ruined…

Love the wearability of these rugs as well as the price range.  Dash and Albert makes sure that their products are affordable for all.  There is a type of rug for everyone and every kind of living… wool, indoor/outdoor, jute as well as cotton with gorgeous new spring like colors that really add character and life to a space.  I just received the beautiful Neapolitan Cotton Rug the other day in my picture seen here and I’m thrilled with the way it’s transformed my Family Room!

    I just saw your post on iIG and since I don’t have an account myself I had to come hear to tell you how very sorry I am to hear of sweet Cal’s passing. I feel your pain as we just lost one of our beloved pugs on Friday ourselves. Our other pug also has been diagnosed with cancer and probably doesn’t have much time left either. Our pets are truly members of our families and it is so difficult to lose them but I take solace in the fact that my dog is no longer in any pain and that he was very much loved and had a great life just like your beloved Cal. I will include Cal and your family in my prayers as I say a prayer for my own families healing over our loss as well.

    1. Thank you so much Colleen for telling me about your pugs. I’m so sorry about your baby. Cal actually died on Friday early evening. Hardest day of my life next to my Dad dying. :( I wish nothing but love for you and your family too. It’s so hard isn’t it? Sorry to have just noticed this now. I’ve been off of everything except IG every once in while this past week…. Hugs! xoxo
