Loving this recipe! All of your recipes always look amazing. I make a version of these potatoes, very similar but I have never used bacon bits!!!! And I crunch up potato chips on the top!! ❤️
Making this for Christmas this year. I have one question. What do you do with the butter? Is it melted? Do you cut it up in diced pieces? Thanks so much for all you do.
These potatoes are SOOOO good. I added a little Lawry’s season salt to the mixture & then topped with chives after baking. Thanks so much sharing your recipe. Next time I am going to add a packet of Hidden Valley ranch dressing to the mixture. I love to experiment with recipes

I really want to make this but here in the UK we don’t have packaged shredded potatoes.
Can I just use raw shredded or mashed potatoes instead?
