Work from Home Chic & Casual Fall Fashion Finds

Work from Home Chic & Casual Fall Fashion Finds - The cutest and most affordable workwear options for working from home. Fall fashion ideas & trends.

Hi friends! I’m so excited to share a couple of new outfits that I recently ordered. Just like many of you, almost everything has now gone virtual from meetings to larger group gatherings & more.

Keeping this in mind, I still want to look chic for my zoom meetings while staying comfortable and keeping to my budget. SO many of you know how much I love Walmart Fashion. I’m constantly online shopping for their many deals, sales and cute brands that I love such as Scoop, Time & Tru and many more that I swear by. Plus, they often offer 2-day shipping which makes it even easier than shopping in store, especially during these times!

Right now I’m currently looking for versatility while shopping. Pieces that I can mix & match easily in a multitude of ways.

Work from Home Chic

A couple weeks ago I found the cutest little denim skirt that I knew would be PERFECT for that transitional summer to fall period. I love wearing dresses, and this is the perfect step toward jean weather. In the bay area the temperatures tend to stay warm through mid-October so I have to get creative with my fall wear. ;)

The skirt is only $15 and the length is perfect – not too short & not too long. Another thing I love about it is that the denim is stretchy, so you feel like you can move in it, eat a big lunch in it and still feel comfortable. It tends to run on the larger size so make sure to size down. I’m wearing a size 0. Click here to order the skirt.

For my work from home look, I decided to pair my cute denim skirt with a simple white tank & a black blazer. To say I’m crazy about this blazer is an understatement! It has ruched sleeves, a narrow collar, and a slim cut. I love that it’s a narrow fit but I can still move in it. I’m wearing an XS but I easily could have worn a small too. I like my blazers on the smaller side so it works for me! The fabric feels like a more expensive version, even though it’s only $40. I have it in black & white – the white is currently sold out but keep your eye out for when it restocks. Click here to shop my blazer.

I paired the skirt with a black belt & adorable leopard print flats. The flats are under $15 and SO comfortable, which is crazy. They come in both medium & wide fit depending on your foot size and they have amazing reviews. I love them! Fits TTS. Click here to shop the leopard flats.

The last accessory I added was one of my favorites: the statement pearl & gold coin necklace. I wear it constantly & I LOVE the look – you can dress it up or down. Great price point too! Click here to shop the necklace.

Casual Fall Relaxed Look

My second look is more of a casual Fall relaxed style. I love oversized tops/sweaters & even sweatshirts, so when I saw this varsity v-neck, I knew I had to order it. I actually have it in both the navy and cream colors and love them both equally! The cable-knit isn’t too heavy, which is perfect for Fall weather. I’m wearing a size XS and it gives me that oversized fit that I crave. Under $20! Click here to shop.

I paired the skirt & sweater with a pair of gold sandals and my statement pearl & coin necklace that I love – making this an easy outfit to recreate. I love it!

All in all, I’m so happy with the easy work from home look & the casual Fall relaxed outfit. Both are affordable and so chic! I have everything linked below in case you’d like to shop – plus a couple more options to change up the looks.

  1. Hi Kristy
I am in the process of purchasing a home to renovate and I love your style a lot. I am wanting to paint everything all white. Are your paint colors the same for kitchen and living rooms? Will you kindly advise on what are the ones used for walls? Trims? And if the same you used in bedrooms please? Would be so helpful! Also what link for your floors? I remembered as well you had a makeover of your garage but couldn’t find it. Thank you

    1. Hi Hilary,

If you type ‘garage’ in under the search menu on my home page – you should find everything you need. :)

The paint is the same color throughout except my bedroom. I used Benjamin Moore Chantilly Lace in the Aura type of paint from BM. It acts as a primer and paint. I have matte on the walls, semi gloss on the trim and satin on the doors. Ultra flat using the BEN paint from BM for the ceiling. :)
Good luck on your renovation! xo
