Now that Thanksgiving is over… I am moving full steam ahead to Christmas! Every year I try to pull together some holiday inspiration for all of you to enjoy and hopefully recreate for yourselves. This year I was really inspired by vintage and nostalgia-style decor. They both hold such a special place in my heart. My winter tablescape was created with pops of red & white, gorgeous old-fashioned ornaments, and some throwback dinnerware.
First of all, I want to talk about how much I LOVE this gorgeous dinnerware. The Poinsettia print on these plates, mugs and all the pieces make me smile and makes me so happy. I know that our guests will love every second of sitting around the table.
Underneath each plate, I have a beautiful gold charger plate. Definitely one of the statement pieces on this tablescape – I love that it really grounds the look!
I always like to give each guest a fun “takeaway gift” on each plate. This time I opted to place a classic glass old-world style red & white ornament in the center of each plate for each guest to take with them. Aren’t they so pretty? I love the Scandinavian style. I even picked up a few more to place on my family room Christmas tree as well because I love them that much!
In the center of my table I’ve placed a beautiful Christmas themed floral arrangement filled with fresh tulips, pine, roses, and more. It sits inside of a beautiful gold bowl/vessel that I love to use on my table.
One of my favorite pieces on the table is my everyday gold flatware. Gold flatware works beautifully on almost any type of table scape, from formal to casual. We happen to use them every day and I love the pop of color and flair they add to all our place settings.
On each plate, I included a linen napkin with a personalized monogram of our last name. I love pieces like this!
Throughout the table I also added some unscented glass votive candles & a few mercury glass candles. These always bring a warm glow and mood to the table for everyone seems to appreciate.
Let me know what you think of my winter tablescape! I love this look so much and think it’s perfection for any festive holiday gathering. Cheers!

Kristy
