Mexico is a place where we love to go as a family – we’ve been to Cabo, Cancun and Emma & her boyfriend have been to Puerto Vallarta! What we love most about Mexico is that it’s close to the U.S., (especially California) it’s affordable, the people are amazing, and it gives us that exotic vibe that we love.
Many of you may have visited during Spring Break but we have found that traveling to Mexico during the shoulder season (January-February or June-July) gives you the best deals! More money for cute resort wear if you ask me. :)
Mexico can be extremely hot & humid… especially during the summer which means lots of easy, breezy, cute dresses, rompers, jumpsuits, are a must. I tend to live in flip-flops, sandals and wedges most of the time along with dangle earrings, gold necklaces, and wrap bracelets. I don’t shy away from fun hats or sunglasses to complete a cute outfit.
Today I’ve rounded up some of my must-have Cancun favorites that I brought with me for this trip along with some of the most adorable resort wear that we’re loving now.

Silly, but i always pack a couple of Hair “claw” clips to hold the blackout curtains closed for those days we want to sleep in. Often times the curtains have a gap or won’t stay closed eNough. It woRks great to ensure PRIVACY as well.
