Kicking Friday off with more of the gorgeous Thanksgiving Tablescapes from my very creative and talented Blogger/Designer friends and Nordstrom’s huge 40% Fall Clearance Sale. This past week there were a total of 56+ tablescape examples jam packed full of ideas and tips on how to make a Thanksgiving table a more celebratory occasion by adding just a few fresh additions to your table. I try to mix things up a bit each year with my approach to my own table because I want my guests to feel special and spoiled. While we love keeping our traditional meal the same… mixing up my tablescape is another fun way to surprise my guests and kick things up a notch. It’s always so much more meaningful and special bringing your own individual stye to the table.
Have fun picking up a few new ideas from the vast assortment of ways in which my friends have designed their tables… I adore every approach and I find I am always in AWE!
Nordstrom’s huge 40% Fall Clearance sale is in full swing and ends November 15th..
From clothing and shoes to home decor… It’s SUCH a good sale! Now is the time to get what you need for the Winter and Holiday seasons whether for yourself, your home or family and friends. Nordstrom only has a few sales a year so make sure to take a look and grab what holiday gifts and home decor pieces you can. I’ve already picked up a few of my favorite OUR NEST pillows for my family. Love that piece!
Hugs and Happy Friday!!

Thanksgiving Tablescape Roundup Part 2 ~
Dimples and Tangles ~ Jennifer hit it out of the park with her ‘Gingham Two Ways From Rustic To Glam’. I’m crazy about Gingham and Jennifer has taken the classic black and white with her favorite color green to the richest of levels with her table. Green is one of my favorite colors also as it reflects everything I love… green grass, boxwood and new life in the garden. It also happens to be the color of money but we don’t need to go there. ;) Jennifer’s approach is so elegant and Town and Country magazine worthy. Her introduction of kale as a filler is so clever and one idea I can’t wait to add to my table this year. Hugs to your beautiful approach Jennifer! I’m in love…
Swoonworthy ~ WOW!! What can I say about this gorgeous colorful Thanksgiving table… the very FIRST I might add from the adorable Kimberly, an American living in Great Britain but one who has never celebrated this sweet holiday before! I’m bowled over by the incredible way Kimberly introduced color and pattern through this ceramic centerpiece planter from DesignRaaga. The design and color shown on this table is such a clever way to take the traditional Autumnal table to a more global of scales. I’ve always been a fan of the regal rich tones represented in Europe and Kimberly’s done it beautifully through her choice in tablecloth, flowers, plates and even the unexpected dried cranberry eucalyptus used for height. Kimberly describes her table as Boho Glam and I couldn’t agree more! Love your vintage addition of the scarf Kimberly and welcome to the world of Turkey and Family bonding… Hugs!
Iron & Twine ~ This unexpected beautiful backyard garden ‘Friendsgiving’ from sweet Michelle is such a special surprise. Taking things outdoors when you live in a climate that can handle it is always so welcoming… especially with the winter season and ‘indoor life’ fast approaching. When you have a garden as gorgeous as this with a herringbone patio, cafe lights strung from the trees and a sweet seating area with roaring fire… why go anywhere else? I love the table dressed with the Magnolia branches from Michelle’s own trees and the delicate Thyme pots given as take home gifts for guests. So sweet! The rustic table with the blue and white ticking is perfect for this casually elegant outdoor affair. I love your approach to Thanksgiving Michelle and I bet your home is one that everyone wants to flock to on Thanksgiving day. xo
A Thoughtful Place ~ Courtney is a dear friend and someone I adore so much. Not only is she is an amazing person but she is always full of beautiful ideas. This table is the perfect example brimming with color and style. In typical Courtney fashion there is that little surprise element that personalizes everything. The special napkin rings used are actually vintage pulls Courtney received from her Mother-in-Law. She took the screws out and used them for their detailed beauty. Love that! Your table full of gorgeous fruit and flowers is simply stunning Courtney and your sweet loving touches give it that nod to LIFE. Hugs and don’t worry…. I’m sure that noone saw you knock over the entire pear display over at the grocery store. ;)
Eleven Gables ~ Emily has the most gorgeous setting a backyard can have… With her gazebo and pond reflecting the good life, Emily has wisely chosen to hold Thanksgiving outdoors. Holding court outdoors fits in perfectly with Emily’s english country style. Emily has an active family with 4 boys so the outdoors plays in her favor. Who wouldn’t want to run around outside while waiting for the turkey to finish? The table set with plaid runners and table clothes, white pumpkins and sweet plates look incredible next to Emily’s fantabulous floral arrangement housing the largest red leaves I’ve ever seen!! Whatever do they feed those Oklahoma trees?! Everything looks incredible with her loving feminine touches. Love your beautiful table and life, Emily… One thing is for certain, your boys are going to make great husbands with you as their Mom!
