New Lighting with Lamps Plus

Hi everyone!

I have been so fortunate with the renovation of my new home to partner with one of my favorite companies, Lamps Plus for lighting in my home. I’m always looking to this store whether locally or online for something I need in the lighting department and you name it, they carry it.  I have purchased lamp shades, table lamps and specialty light bulbs in the past but now I was looking for so much more.
Lamps Plus has one of the best selections of lighting online with a collection in every department, from almost every brand. I found lights for each of our bathrooms, my closet, staircase, laundry room and the exterior without an issue. I love everything I’ve chosen and feel all will stand the test of time.

I’ve included links to each piece along with a few pictures to give you an idea of how everything looks in my home… We are so happy with the outcome I wouldn’t change a thing!

Staircase 

In choosing lighting for my curved staircase I knew I needed to select something interesting.  This space is seen from my front entry, living room and upstairs landing.  The first time I saw the Superstar Wall Sconce I fell in love.  The champagne tones matched my dining room chandelier below and the stars reminded me of the night my husband asked me to marry him. We counted over 20 shooting stars over the Santa Barbara beach that August evening. It was the most magical romantic moment and I knew the minute I saw this light I had to have it!

Guest Bath

My daughter’s bathroom/guest bath needed lots of light so I opted for 2 of the Yates 2 light sconces in polished nickel.  I love the updated, timeless shape and larger shades of this piece. The mirror really stands out with the 2 sconces flanking it.

Master Bathroom

In my master bathroom it was important to find a sconce that could stand up to the size of my large rectangular mirror.  I knew the 2 light sconce style would be the best fit once again and when I stumbled  upon the octagonal base of the Charlotte sconce I knew it was the perfect fit.  This sconce reminds me of an updated modern style candelabra with it’s strong base and feminine shape. It’s perfect!

Master Closet

I have always wanted an elegant crystal piece in my master closet.  We dressed up our closet with a beautiful new closet built in system and all that was missing was the perfect light.  I didn’t have a ton of space from the ceiling in depth with my tall closet doors so I made sure to look for a flush mount style chandelier.  It had to be shallow.  The piece I’ve selected looks amazing in the space and most importantly,  I can still open my closet doors and I now have light dancing off the ceiling.

Laundry Room

I chose the Broche Leaves white flush mount for my laundry room for it’s beautiful shape and the special way the light filters through the leaves.  I LOVE this light!!  We are able to view it from the kitchen and it’s a piece everyone notices.  I have always wanted this light since first seeing it in a friend’s home and feel that it really makes a statement.

Outdoor Lighting

With our renovation we were forced to switch out every exterior light due to wear and tear.  I knew I wanted a larger style bronze lantern and couldn’t believe my luck when I found the large 19″ Mount Vernon.  It checked off all the boxes and looks so beautiful against my home. The best part is that it’s an LED light that should last forever. Being energy efficient matters a great deal to us and I love the fact that I can have my outdoor lights on every night without feeling guilty.
