I received the sweetest gift in the mail yesterday~
Believe it or not… it was from a new friend I’ve just gotten to know this past few months from Instagram exchanges. :)
There are some really special people with whom I’ve run across and most have the same interests because we are all networking and really involved with #DIY projects, Blogging and Interior Design.
She is so thoughtful and we’ve had some really amazingly positive exchanges of support for one another and as a ‘Thank You’ she sent me this beautiful hand painted Ball glass with ‘dipped in paint’ flowers.
Susan (Ruby_and_Rosemary) is one of those who is always positive and offering sweet comments to others on their posts.
She describes herself as a ‘family lover, treasure hunter’ and like me… ‘beauty seeker’. :)
I was immediately impressed by how kind she was to those she didn’t even know.
I wanted to take a moment to mention this today because one of the reasons why I’m Blogging is to highlight that ‘special thing’ that makes every day beautiful and well… Susan, along with her spirit and beautiful Homemade gift fit the bill perfectly.
I’m going to have to try and make one of these gorgeous DIY flower jars and in keeping with Susan’s spirit, I’ll pass mine on to those who I feel make a difference and add beauty to every day.
That is a very sweet gift! I know it’s not really what you were focusing on…. But I think it’s a nice surprise to receive anything in the mail these days. Especially a gift! It makes me think of the family I have, living in other states, far away. I’m sure they’d enjoy a small treasure to have in their home and they could be reminded of my love, every time they see it :) I’m off to the post office….!
That’s so sweet! I’ve been blogging for a few years and have been constantly reminded of the kindness of others. Most of the people in blog land love their homes and have a lot in common…I think that bonds us.
That was such a sweet thing to do! The flowers are gorgeous too. :) I love all the friendships I’ve made through blogging and Instagram. There really are lots of nice, genuine people out there. So glad you and I recently connected! :)
