Happy Friday evening everyone,
I can’t believe we are just two weeks away from Thanksgiving! Because we are headed to China during the Thanksgiving holiday, I have been trying to get everything done ahead of time. Even decorating for Christmas. While most bloggers decorate early, I️ have always stuck to my guns and kept with our family tradition of decorating the day ‘after’ Thanksgiving.
While I️ love and appreciate celebrating each holiday separately, I have to say that the pay off is worth it for me this year. I’m loving the fact that everything is already Christmas ready. Now I’ll be able to relax and really have fun in China knowing that everything is all finished.
Another added bonus? Enjoying the lights & decorations a little longer. Plus, it will be such a good feeling walking into a fully decorated house when I’m exhausted from our long trip.

Tonight I’m showcasing one of my favorite holiday related decor items from Autumn through Christmas ~ Restoration Hardware’s twinkle trees. They have a variety of styles and sizes and I love all. Do you have any? If not then you need to get a few… I’m in love!

I have loved everything string light related for as long as I can remember. Ever since I was a little girl my parents were always big on hanging a ton of lights everywhere during the holiday season.. in and around the house. When Restoration Hardware came out with their twinkle trees several years ago I knew I had to have one.What began as a small collection of trees has now become a massive amount and no one in the family seems to mind. I pull them out in October so that we can enjoy the soft glow during the autumn season then leave them up through New Year’s. They always put me in a good mood and they shine the most beautiful warm glow throughout the house. I have every size twinkle tree in just about every room in my home… From the staircase to the mantle they sparkle and shine.
All the trees at RH are currently on sale. Now is the best time to grab a few… They always sell out. I have linked the trees that I currently own as well as another I would like to purchase in either gold or silver for you below. I think it would be nice to have a little contrast with a metallic tree.

One tip I have for storing these dainty trees is to wrap them with Saran Wrap. Yes, you heard me right! Simply pull all the branches together so they stand tall and skinny then wrap your way around from the top to the bottom. The trees store so much easier this way. We stand them in the corner of our garage or lay them sideways on top of one another in the attic. They are so skinny they don’t take up any space. Wrapping them also keeps them clean and protects all the lights.

Lol… I know the feeling. I’m getting more trees for both the inside and outside. ;) I wrap mine with both fur and burlap depending on the space…

What is the color and brand of your flooring?
Hi Angie, My floors are from Pravada Hardwood and the color is Chateau Blanc. They are a white oak. :)
