Hi everyone!
So excited to showcase the Main Beachhouse Designer Spotlight… I’m in a weekend getaway frame of mind after tourning the amazing Ship Channel House located in the North East beautiful state of Maine. This stunning beach house designed by the talented team of Banks Design Associates immediately caught my attention with it’s gorgeous exterior sitting so close to the water. It’s architecture is classic and crisp in style. The home is full of windows, light and character. The lawn and pool design is perfectly situated just above the water’s edge and the house, while large, doesn’t dominate the view. It’s sprawling layout fits in perfectly and compliments it’s natural coastal environment like that of a puzzle piece.
I love the richly elegant materials used within this project from the white wall molding detail throughout to the marble counter-tops and antique mirrored cabinet doors within the kitchen…
The dining room is wrapped with three walls of floor to ceiling windows making the ocean view the star of the show. The space is so picturesque it looks as if it’s straight out of a movie or painting…
The home treads that thin line of exuding luxury and comfort… Not an easy task but when demonstrated correctly can look both beautiful and inviting. The soft colors lifted from the sandy beach and ocean waters are represented in the mildest yet most profound manner. The tones lend a nod to the home’s nautical surroundings without appearing beach house kitschy. Love that.
The round nautical style window is just one of many features that set this home apart. I love how pretty it looks planted in the center of the shiplap wall.
I hope you’ve enjoyed touring this beautiful property… For more amazing designs from the great team of Banks Design Associates click here.

Loved that one Kristy, I do like the idea of wall mounted bedside lights to allow the bedside table to be free for the pretties ??
