The San Francisco Bay area is so excited right now…
The Giants are playing for their possible 3rd World Series win in 5 years!
Our area has so many strong sports teams that I find it’s difficult to not be a tad bit interested in this World Series even if you aren’t an avid sports fan. ;)
The Giants have so many great players and coaches who give back so much to our community and have such an infectious attitude that even my friends who couldn’t care less about sports are tuning in.

Autumn is here and it’s hard to not notice…
even with the California ‘Indian Summer’ upon us.
The tell tale sign?
My hydrangeas are changing their colors from the brighter greens, blues and pinks to the more subdued lavenders, burgundy and beiges with a speckle of faded pinks or greens.
This is the optimum time for those of you who aren’t familiar with hydrangeas to cut your larger blooms for use as decor.

So happy to live in a town that has one of the greatest Farmers’ Markets every Saturday year round.

Every Saturday morning without fail my family and I head down to Main Street to hit our incredible Farmers’ Market, grab a quick breakfast and take the opportunity to catch up with all of our neighbors while duking it out over who gets the best looking ‘tomato’.  ;)

The Pleasanton Farmers’ Market has a huge variety of venders selling everything from nuts, organic fruit and veggies, flowers, jams, fresh fish, bakery items, the world’s best Kettle Corn, rotisserie chicken (to die for), the best corn salad around, knife sharpening and even free entertainment provided by a singing cowboy!

A couple of weeks ago I mentioned that I was going to take a drive up the coast to look for something special at a nearby Flea Market.
I found myself driving North to the Bernal Heights neighborhood in San Francisco to one of my favorite markets in the Bay area…
the Alemany Flea Market.

I figured if I’m going to be hitting a Flea Market it may as well be one full of the city sights and sounds.
