Something we LOVE to do as a family is bake sweet treats together in the kitchen. When I say we, I mean Jeff & Emma bake together while I sit at the island and provide moral support. ;) Jeff’s Snickerdoodle Cookie recipe is one of our all-time favorites: the cookies are moist, sweet and the perfect easy dessert to whip up for friends and family!

For me, the holidays are all about having fun and indulging in sweet treats! My family is always laughing… especially when there is any cooking or baking involved. We love spending time together in the kitchen making something yummy and creative. It’s always in good sport of course.. even when we are all secretly trying to outdo one another with our baking skills. ;) Jeff loves to make his Mom’s fudge while Emma and I live for baking cookies.

Jeff made the most delicious pumpkin cheesecake for Thanksgiving! Our whole family loves when he makes cheesecake and this special version is the perfect mix of everything you want in a holiday dessert. Smooth and creamy with a yummy graham cracker crust and a mild pumpkin flavor.  Your whole family will love you for making it! This is not for the diet-conscious… but who counts calories during the holidays? Definitely not us.. (just head to the gym the next day to feel better).
