I’m always interested in what’s new and in style so I thought this would be something fun to share with all of you. This year there’s a little something for everyone – polka dots, denim, cargo pants, bubble hem and drop waist dresses, sheer fabrics, florals, and metallics.. I don’t know about you all but this year I’m all about cozy and attainable fashion for the winter. It went from a really warm Fall to a cold Winter extremely quickly and I didn’t have a ton of time to order new comfortable clothes that works well with layers. It’s been around the mid-40s to high 50s in the mornings and early afternoons where I live so a warm jacket and long-sleeves are a must and what’s getting me through the days.

After months and months of not going anywhere due to the pandemic we decided to take a little “staycation” to Pinecrest – a small area around 2 hours from our Bay area home. It so happens that one of my followers on IG overheard me saying I would love to have a weekend getaway. She immediately contacted me and asked if I would like to stay at the cabin she rents out year round in the nearby area of Pinecrest.
