Topping

  • 1 (3/4 oz) packet Spiced Apple Cider Mix
  • 1 tsp Cinnamon
  • 1 cup Powdered Sugar
  • 1/2 stick Unsalted Butter
  • 2 oz Cream Cheese

Instructions

Cinnamon Butter

  1. Cinnamon Bun Butter: Melt the butter in a microwave safe bowl, add cinnamon and sugar and combine. Place in the fridge to firm back up, take out when desired softness is reached or your pancakes are ready to serve.

Pancakes

  1. Prepare pancakes as instructed on the box

  2. Cinnamon Bun Swirl: If you want to try your hand at a cinnamon Bun swirl, add some of the cinnamon bun butter into a pipping bag (or Ziplock with a cut corner.)

Just before your pancake is ready to flip add a swirl to the top, gently flip and cook as normal. Be sure to wipe the pan clean of your sugar mixture before making a new pancake.

Spiced Apple Cider Topping

  1. Combine spiced apple cider mix, cinnamon, & powdered sugar. Measure out 1/4 cup of the mixture and set aside.

Melt butter and cream cheese together in a pan. Once combined, stir in your remaining powdered sugar mixture and vanilla. Drip over pancakes or serve as a dip.

Add the 1/4 cup dry mixture to a sieve or sifter, lightly tap over pancakes just before serving.
