Healthy Taco Salad

  • 1/2 White Onion Chopped
  • 1 lb Lean Turkey or Beef
  • 1 oz Olive Oil
  • 1-2 Carrots Chopped
  • 1 Bell Pepper Chopped
  • 1 Can Kidney Beans Rinsed & Drained
  • 4-5 Radishes Sliced Thinly
  • 1 Tomato Chopped
  • 1/4 Red Onion Chopped
  • 2 Bags Americana Salad (or 1 Large Bag)
  • Catalina Dressing (To Taste)
  • Tortilla Chips (Optional)
  • Tajin Seasoning (Optional)
  • Avocado (Sliced, Optional)
  • Mexican Cheese (Optional)
  • packet Taco Seasoning


  1. Chop all of your veggies that you want to add to your salad and put them to the side. 

  2. Add the white onion and lean ground turkey meat to a pan. Add olive oil and cook until browned then add the taco seasoning and water. Put the seasoned turkey and onion mix to the side

  3. Use a large bowl to add the bags of lettuce. Add all of your chopped veggies to the bowl. Add Catalina dressing to your taste and mix. 

  4. Get out bowls and add your lettuce/veggie mix to each. Add a scoop of the turkey and onion mixture to each. Top each bowl with whatever toppings you choose (Tortilla Chips, avocado, mexican cheese, tajin, etc) and enjoy!
