Great post. Saving for reference as I would love to go back someday. Went as a child with my parents and I live near Sacramento so it’s very close! I have never been wine tasting so would love to make a weekend trip one day soon! Thanks for the great tips! Hopefully I can recreate your amazing trip someday with my hubby. (We have never been on an actual vacation in 8 years together.. lol fingers crossed we can make one work soon)

Hi Lisa,

Have so much fun! Napa is definitely doable from there. It depends a lot on if you have a car or not. Bottega is a little far I would say, but still worth it. It’s probably around 40 mins from your hotel. I wouldn’t uber there, but if you have a car – St. Helena and that entire area is beautiful and a wonderful place to stop on your travels around Sonoma.

Have been a long time follower. Heading to the region in early June for the first time. Staying at the Fairmont in Sonoma. Is Napa doable from there? Wanted to do Bottega for dinner one night but wondered how far. Thx!!

In reply to Adam Jimenez. Hi Adam, Thanks for reaching out. These are all relatively close, you can definitely get an uber and go place to place. Less pricy hotels.. it depends on what you are looking for. What is your budget?

Are all these near by? so getting an ubber would advisable in the end of the day. I do plan a weekend with my fiancé and I know she would love to spend it near here . Also what are the less pricy hotels that can be utilized .
