Entertaining with friends doesn’t have to be an elaborate affair. :) I often wing it and get together with friends on a whim.  The last thing I want to worry about when hosting is whether things are perfect so I do all I can to keep a few basic items on hand to make entertaining simpler.  Oftentimes when it’s just the girls coming by I’ll whip out a neutral runner and place it on my island with just a few white plates, napkins, candles and wine.
