Hi everyone!

I have been so fortunate with the renovation of my new home to partner with one of my favorite companies, Lamps Plus for lighting in my home. I’m always looking to this store whether locally or online for something I need in the lighting department and you name it, they carry it.  I have purchased lamp shades, table lamps and specialty light bulbs in the past but now I was looking for so much more.

I’m so excited to give you an update on my bright and open dining room now that we’ve been in the house a couple of months. Although this space isn’t fully completed, many have been asking me to source certain items so I’ve decided to go ahead and simply include what I have whether finished or not. ;)

This summer I’m keeping things simple and clean with my newly decorated white dining room…

We’ve been in this home for 10 years now and I think in all that time I’ve gone through just about every color in the rainbow when it has come to decorating this dining room space.  It has gone from a more traditional red and green to blue with citrus greens, then black with blues as accents.

Loving my blue and white dining room makeover this winter!  I’ve been looking to refresh this space for quite awhile and finally decided to get on with it.. After attempting a different direction with color last summer I’ve fallen back to my true love of blue and white.  My home has an open floor plan making every room visible from one end of our home to other. Keeping things within the same color tone lends a seamless look and simply seems to work best within my home…

Approaching the space one of the first things I knew I wanted to do was replace my dining hutch with a piece that fit the niche better.

Hello friends!

As may of you may remember I’m in need of a pair of lamps for my newly decorated dining room.  Recently I’ve purchased a new sideboard to replace my old dining room hutch.  The hutch as beautiful as it was never really fit the space properly and I have to admit.. I’m excited for this new piece.

The new sideboard was found at my favorite local consignment store.  Once it arrived at my home I immediately painted it and loved the way it shined.
