Friday Favorites: Fall Entertaining Edition

Welcome back to Friday Favorites: Fall Entertaining Edition.
I just arrived home from the most wonderful trip to upstate New York…  I was a it surprised to find warm weather and green trees rather than the cozy fall season I expected. Of course the day I left Autumn decided to show up.  The temps dropped and the leaves were blowing everywhere as they fluttered to the ground…
I am so ready for the change of seasons in the bay area!

Fall is one of the most inspiring seasons… with it’s cozy interior decor and lots of family spilling in my home I find myself looking inside with ways to incorporate the season.. I love to entertain during this time of year and find table settings to be one of the most  important aspects.  Below you will find several that I think reflect the season beautifully…  Let me know if you have a favorite and why!  (To see more of each table simply click on the name)

Favorite Fall Entertaining Tablescapes

  1. Love this natural & light thanksgiving/autumn tablescape by Love Grows Wild. It’s simplicity along with the velvet pumpkins at each plate inspires me.

  1. They are all so pretty, but are these just for show, or do people really sit down and eat at these tables? Not much room for the meal being served. My favorite is the last one, by Kelley Nan. Simple, with room for food.

  2. Just an FYI, I looked into Indian Summer because I thought many people used it incorrectly and I was right. According to the old Farmer’s Almanac, Indian Summer occurs between St. Martin’s Day (November11) and November 20. So in the future, you can refer to this and know when to call Indian Summer, Indian Summer. It’s too early!!!!!

  3. So beautiful and inspiring – great choices! I will definitely be piling my table high with pumpkins and fall decor – as each season passes, i get more and more adventurous with my decorating, particularly because of fabulously creative blog posts such as these! x

  4. I love Stone Green Gable’s table. The pale pumpkins and greens just look beautiful! I guess those are the colors I use so I tend to gravitate to that look. I leave my tablescape on the table and pass the food around and then put it on a buffet so that we can enjoy the pumpkins while we eat!
